Foi Labor Day weekend, 1969, duas semanas depois de Woodstock, e milhares de hippies e amantes da paz e da música convergiram sobre a pequena cidade de Lewisville, ao norte de Dallas, no Texas Pop Festival de ser e de ver e ouvir a música :
