Shortly after departing the popular Washington DC area blues band The Nighthawks, of which he was a founding member, Jimmy Thackery re-emerged with the power trio Jimmy Thackery & The Drivers in order to put the spotlight firmly on his aggressive and distinctive blues rock guitar style.
